Jennifer & Jon / Ballard Engagement Session

Before I can blog their amazing wedding, you have to take a look at this wonderful summer engagement session we did in Ballard, Seattle. I love Ballard Locks and it made for the most beautiful session backdrop. From botanical garden with flowers, to blooming cherry blossoms and a gorgeous golden hour. Any garden for that matter makes for a beautiful backdrop of an engagement session, but Ballard truly has some unique spots to have an engagement session. We later made our way to downtown Ballard, Seattle. We stopped at the Ballard Hotel rooftop which has beautiful views of Seattle. Don't tell anyone I told you but you can just take the elevator up to the rooftop for some photos....shhhh. After our quick stint at the hotel, we made our way over to a local watering hole King's Hardware where we had some beers, Jen & Jon played skeeball and I was just shooting away!

My one complaint about Ballard is that there is never nay parking on the weekends, I guess everyone likes to come there! If you haven't been, do yourself a favor and go. There are so many great bars and restaurants with fantastic happy hours!
