Summer Wedding In Leavenworth
Last summer was busy. Between the weddings I was shooting I was also getting married myself. This beautiful Leavenworth wedding was one day before we flew out to Warsaw to get married 😉 So I was a tad occupied all around. But it is time I share this lovely wedding with you all. I have known Pat for a few years (we worked together) and met Audrey through work functions (if you’ve read some of my other blogs, there’s a theme – my coworkers really like my photos and like to hire me😊
This lovely wedding in Leavenworth took place on the 18th of August. This was also during the fire season in Eastern Washington, and while it may not be ideal for your lungs it sure made for a beautiful backdrop in Leavenworth at Silvara Winery with views of the Cascade foothills, for a true Pacific Northwest Wedding. Just a week or so before the wedding, Audrey was riding one of the rental bikes, and some jerk cut the break lines on it. Poor girl had to jump off the bike because it wouldn’t stop. Thankfully she only ended up with some bruises and scratches and nothing more serious. Please always check the breaks before riding them, just to be safe.
Audrey, being a dreamy bride, had so many lovely details I was dying over. First of all, her wedding invites were created by the one and only Camille of Robinson Creative House. Camille killed it, not only with the invites, but with all of the signage and print items she made. Just scroll through and you will see what I’m talking about. Each table by the way had a name of local lakes and mountains – very clever!
Audrey and Pat’s pup – Penny, was a bridesmaid as well. She’s an adorable golden doodle full of energy, she even had a floral crown! To see more of Penny click here to view Audrey and Pat’s engagement session at Discovery Park. Once you start scrolling you will see my obsession with dogs, and Penny specifically. I included some bridal party photos during which she was rolling around in the grass!
But, back to the details – Pat wrote a sweet note on the sole of Audrey’s shoes. There’s a shot of that too 😊 And Audrey also had the most perfect Mrs. Box that matched everything else just right, along with a dreamy dress from A&BE Bridal Shop in Ballard.
PS. Audrey and her dad had the best father daughter dance I have ever seen. It was legit epic. You will see towards the end of the blog. I was DEAD.
